In our basic section, you will learn about the possible operations of Kafka Streams, which you will use in the later example use cases.

2. setup development environment
Our trainer will guide you through the development environment provided, which you will use in the hands-on part.

3. hello world! & Hello Streams
Let’s get started! You will program your first example and familiarize yourself with Kafka Streams and the development environment. Our trainer will of course be on hand with help and advice.

4th Challenge 1: IIoT: Sensors and master data
Now it’s time for the first practical use case: IoT sensor data is to be linked with master data.

5 Challenge 2: Kafka Streams in the Real-Time Data Warehouse
From store floor to reporting: In the next example, you will implement a use case from the data warehousing environment.
